How long is the decoration
season?
We will show you
how to create a 100 day window to install and remove decorations.
Since most lighting decorations are almost unnoticeable during the
day, customers will allow you to install these early in the year. Less
time consuming installations of greenery and bows can be done at a
later time.

Who buys this service?
The residential
market is the fastest growing and the quickest sale to turn.

Start up Costs/Working Capital?
This is one of the
least expensive businesses to get into because costly equipment is
seldom required. For each full service installation crew we estimate
ladders and tools at $750-$950, and a start up inventory of
$3,000-$5,000. Each additional crew will have about the same cost in
ladders and tools, but inventory should be increased about $2,000 per
crew.

Do I have a Protected Area?
Residential markets
are set up as geographically protected territories. Your franchise fee
may be based in part on the size of the territory you request.
Commercial markets are not protected because chain store owners and
property management companies may have locations in several
territories and only want to do business with one company.

Where Do I Buy Supplies?

such as nails, staples, tape and tools may be purchased locally.

of national vendors for decorations, extension cords and fasteners.
Many of these items are available directly from ACLS.
